When Trump tapped into the vein of patriotism and populism that had gone ignored for decades, citizens of every political stripe came together in support of his call for a renaissance of common sense and a return to core American values. Despite the attempt by Democrats to preserve their status quo of mediocrity, division, and corruption, our culture certainly seems anxious to rebound. Americans are done with the Obama era philosophy of prioritizing being liked over being respected. Obama was the cool dad. He never said no to spending money, avoided confrontation, and made people believe heaven on earth was possible, given enough government authority. But we have seen the results of the cool dad. Our house is a mess, and people are demanding order. Trump and his no-nonsense crew of squares are the ones to get the job done.
Self reliance and personal responsibility are among America’s highest values. Building yourself up so that you can be strong enough to take care of others is part of the American dream. Behind the push for RFK Jr. to serve as HHS Secretary is a strong demand for nutritious food, science-based health advice, and medicine transparency. Gone are the days of body positivity, Ozempic for children, and dangerous chemicals in our food which are disallowed in other countries. The HHS is a critical government agency and should never have been overseen by an incompetent, obese man selected to his position because he wears a dress. RFK Jr. will make America healthier.
Elon Musk may never have sat at the cool kids’ table, but his Department of Government Efficiency is saving Americans $1B per day. Taxpayers are no longer shrugging at our $35T debt. They are demanding responsibility and accountability in government. USAID has been shut down after being exposed as the wallet of the deep state, spending billions each year to enrich the swamp and undermine the priorities of everyday Americans. DEI programs have been purged. Leftist media outlets will no longer be propped up by our tax dollars. Waste, fraud, and abuse are everywhere in the Federal government. Musk and his merry band of AI wielding prom-skippers are exactly the ones to root it out. They are delivering accountability and efficiency to the American people.
It’s not just healthy living and financial prudence that have become fashionable either. There are other signs of reemerging traditional values. God is being mentioned more in the media, often by athletes. Studies show Americans are drinking less alcohol. Free speech is winning its battle with censorship. Recruitment for the armed forces just had its best month in 15 years. Merit-based hiring is making a comeback. And if you can believe it, attractive biological women are even winning beauty pageants again.
The American values of personal responsibility, minimal government coercion, equality under the law, fidelity to family, and individual freedom are back in style. Our ruling elite have been exposed for the incompetent, godless, greedy, power-obsessed, swamp creatures they are. Their destructive, self-serving reign is over. The conservative is now the fresh-faced, fearless rebel, fighting the corrupt establishment. We’re like hippies, but with 401ks and better hygiene. We’re improving the country with positivity and truth, and we’re just getting started. So grab a protein shake and wave the stars and stripes on your way to work. America may have gotten sloppy in recent years, but it’s nothing discipline and hard work can’t fix.
