After the thick dust and ashes fell from the Twin Towers blanketing downtown Manhattan, I remember seeing a car with the words “We Will Never Forget” written in the dust on the windshield. In the years that followed, the resilience and solidarity of the people of New York were very convincing that the iconic declaration would hold true.
But it wouldn’t.
A person born on the tragically fateful day of 9/11/2001 would not even be old enough to legally rent a car today, but in just 24 years, New Yorkers have forgotten. Less than a quarter of a century is how long it took for the people of New York to dishonor the memory of 2606 Americans killed in the World Trade Center attack by electing as their Mayor a Muslim communist who demonstrably hates America.
It makes sense that 78% of voters under 30 voted for Mamdani. It further makes sense that 80% of immigrants here less than 10 years voted for him. They have no memory of the horror of that day. It means nothing to them. Even if it did, they have surely been indoctrinated to be “anti-islamophobic.” It matters not to them that Zoran Mamdani declined to call for Hamas to disarm. Or that he refused to condemn the phrase “Globalize the Intifada.” Or that he called the NYPD racist and said he would arrest Netanyahu if he came to New York, something he has zero authority to do.
I’ll ask you to forget for one second that Mamdani is a 34 year old failed rapper who has never had a real job. Forget that he quotes Marx on Twitter, said “Capitalism is theft,” and wants to implement an ideology in America that has killed over 100M people in the past century. Just forget all that for a moment because Democrats have been largely indistinguishable from socialists for twenty years anyway.
Instead, understand that New Yorkers just elected an immigrant who recently met with Imam Siraj Wahhaj, an unindicted co-conspirator in the first WTC bombing in 1993, the man who referred to America as a wicked nation. Also, Mamdani’s closing message to voters was filmed in a Bodega prominently displaying the Palestinian flag.
It has been frustrating to see Mamdani’s outrageous Marxist beliefs almost serve as a distraction from the real threat he represents. The truth is we should care less about his plan for government grocery stores and more about how his antisemitic staff will soon be tasked with importing as many Muslims into NYC as possible while simultaneously getting them on government benefits. Using the same playbook as in London, the global jihad movement will orchestrate a nonviolent takeover of another major western city, funded by taxpayers.
Soon, after Muslim numbers have swelled, we will see demonstrations of power in the street, violence and sex crimes will increase dramatically, just as in Europe, and we will hear the Islamic call to prayer in Times Square before the end of his term. All of this is unacceptable.
There are some things that Americans cannot be afraid to say out loud, as our very survival depends on their acknowledgement. Among these truths is the fact that the ideology of Islam is a cancer to America. Islam is not only incompatible with Western values, it is violently antithetical to them, especially our Bill of Rights. If you haven’t been paying attention to the devastating effects that Muslim migration has had in Europe, you had better start, because it is happening here now.
Appropriate countermeasures that we should demand our leaders take in this country include pushing a vote on the bills currently in the House and Senate that would federally prohibit the practice of Sharia Law. CAIR should be stripped of its 501(c)(3) designation. The Muslim Brotherhood should be named a terrorist organization. As mass deportations continue, priority should be placed on illegal immigrants from Islamic countries. Severe limitations should be placed on immigration from Muslim majority nations and intense scrutiny should be placed on existing and previous immigration applications in areas such as Michigan and Minnesota where rampant immigration fraud has been known to occur. Non-citizen Imams or clerics speaking of jihad or intifada need to be kicked out of the country immediately. These are measures we can and should take right now.
Hopefully, Mamdani’s failures over the next 3 years will help usher in a J.D. Vance presidency. I believe that America will continue to broadly reject limousine communists like Mamdani, but the real danger is that NYC could now be a foothold that global Islam could only have dreamt of ten years ago.
America must heed the warnings of Europe and defend our freedom and values while we still can. People who wish to tear down our country are not only here, they are growing their numbers and achieving positions of power, enabled exclusively by the Democrat party. We either push back hard against this, or end up like Europe. It is as simple as that.
