It has been well over two weeks since Joe Biden’s political euthanasia and the installation of Kamala Harris as the de facto Democrat nominee for President. Her advisors undoubtedly recommended a familiar basement strategy, allowing the fawning media to help her run out the clock to the convention. Kamala was the fortuitous DEI Jenny-on-the-spot, and she held a status quo that was hers to lose. While the sycophant media was sure to do their part, the stakes remained high, and one errant cackle or idiotic statement could have sent her poll numbers plunging, giving Obama all the reason he needed to take her out behind the Biden Memorial wood shed.
So Kamala stayed hidden, but now, seems to have survived the “Newsom window,” and later this month, she will be crowned in Chicago as the first ever presidential nominee not to receive one primary vote. Unfortunately for her, she can’t hide forever. She has ground to make up in critical swing states and must crawl out from under her proverbial rock to engage Trump. In doing so, Harris will soon remind people why she had to be installed and not voted into this position.
Kamala Harris has all of the likeability of Hillary along with the intelligence of AOC. When she is away from a teleprompter, she resembles a novice archer, reaching for an arrow from an empty quiver. You can see her mind desperately grasping for principles and values that are simply not there. What follows is an amalgam of fortune cookie platitudes, CNN talking points, and cringeworthy giggles.
Today, in a move inexplicable to many, the DNC has chosen for Harris a VP candidate whose name 75% of Americans do not recognize. Tim Walz, the current Governor of Minnesomalia, is a puzzling choice. Historically, a VP pick often serves to balance, if not moderate, the personalities on the ticket. For instance, Trump’s boorishness was balanced with Pence’s Bible verses. In this case, however, the Democrats have chosen to compliment the Socialist San Francisco treat with another batshit crazy leftist, who similarly believes there is no problem the heavy the hand of government cannot solve.
From enabling the destruction of Minneapolis by BLM rioters, to requiring tampons in boys’ bathrooms, Walz is the opposite of the moderating force this ticket needed. Walz equated socialism with simply being neighborly. He supports late term abortion, drivers licenses and healthcare for illegal immigrants, and defunding the police.
Harris/Walz is easily the most radically left ticket to ever run for office in America. If their bid is successful, the country may never be able to recover. Taxes, inflation, immigration, crime, and the degradation of our Constitutional principles will all get worse. But even if they lose, the fact that the Democrat party has now moved so far left is tremendously damaging to the country. Harris won no primary and was not chosen by the American people, yet her Marxist and anti-American ideology has now been given historic credibility. Maybe that was the point all along.
