RFK Jr. has not been treated kindly by his own party. When he was running for President as a Democrat, the DNC would not give him funding. The Biden Administration would not extend Secret Service protection to him, despite his family’s history of being targeted for assassination. Now that RFK Jr. is running as an independent, the party he has represented and defended all his life is suing his campaign into bankruptcy in many states to get him off the ballot, as the DNC does not wish to split votes with him among moderates who lean left. This is just the latest example of how the Democrats are “saving democracy” by not letting voters decide anything for themselves.
A wise man once labeled the Democrats as the party of weak men and unhappy women. RFK Jr. is not a weak man, but that is just one reason he decided to leave the party. He has stated he disagrees with their censorship, their corruption, their affinity for war, and their dishonesty. And however one might view his politics, no one can deny his courage and adherence to principles. Now, his next step could change political history in an unprecedented way and teach the Democrats a powerful lesson.
The rumor is that RFK Jr. will suspend his campaign for President tomorrow and possibly put his support behind former President Trump. This would be a smack to the face of the Democrat party, and it would leave a mark. Many of the votes that the Dems were worried about splitting with RFK Jr. would now be added to Trump’s total, which is a far worse outcome than splitting. Further, a Kennedy teaming up with Republicans would be historic. It would push the growing sentiment that the Democrat party has mutated into a woke, communist abomination into accepted truth status. RFK Jr. would be joining other former Democrats like Tulsi Gabbard in condemning the Venezuelan politics of price controls, wealth taxes, censorship, and insecure elections that Dems are importing onto American soil.
The message would be simple. We must band together to defeat the insane and corrupt authoritarians currently in charge for the good of the nation. What Harris represents is no longer your parents’ Democrat party, but we can get it back. Join us.
Even in this highly polarized, trench warfare of modern politics, this alliance would give the Trump campaign the credibility to speak directly to Democrats and ask for their support. Trump should cement the partnership by indicating cabinet positions in store for both Kennedy and Shanahan, such as heading up the FDA. This would appeal to the Joe Rogan crowd and anyone else interested in addressing the corruption between the government and big pharma.
The direction Obama’s Democrat party has taken the country is the antithesis of what our Constitution and founding fathers prescribed for a free and prosperous nation. RFK Jr. joining up with Trump could be an enormous catalyst in getting us back on track. If lifelong Democrats start putting America first, the globalist elites could very well be packing their bags in November.
