In what can only be seen as an abominable overestimation of her damage control capabilities, Kamala Harris visited the border in Arizona this week. Voluntarily drawing attention to her greatest weakness was as ill-advised as it was ill-timed because it happened to coincide with the release of some quite damning immigration statistics from her own administration.
A letter released from Immigration and Customs Enforcement shows exactly to what degree the Democrat party has sacrificed the safety of ordinary Americans in an attempt to achieve one party rule. Before we get to the appalling numbers, it is important to remember that during the Trump years, as millions of immigrants tried to gain entry to the country, Trump instituted the “Remain in Mexico” policy. This required asylum seekers to stay outside our borders while their asylum case was considered. This made sense because better than 7 of 10 of them were being denied. Biden and Harris immediately ended this policy, releasing millions of illegal immigrants into the country, signing them up for benefits, and simultaneously registering them to vote.
It is clear the Democrat strategists who hatched this sinister plot never bothered to consider whether or not the immigrants were good people, and now Americans are far less safe. The figures from ICE, as reported by Fox, were shocking. “As of July, there are 425,431 convicted criminals and 222,141 immigrants with pending criminal charges. Those include 62,231 convicted of assault, 14,301 convicted of burglary, 56,533 drug convictions, and 13,099 convicted of homicide. An additional 2,521 have kidnapping convictions, and 15,811 have sexual assault convictions.”
The Democrats allowed thirty thousand murderers and rapists to move freely inside our country. Our tax dollars are being spent to make our children less safe, and if you have a problem with it, the Dems will call you racist.
The highest responsibility of any elected leader is to keep safe the citizens he or she represents. This is true for every city, in every country of the world. Democrats have failed in this capacity in just about every way imaginable. However, for just one moment, let’s leave aside their Marxist economics, toxic identity politics, anti-human globalist agenda, and currency-evaporating spending. Then, let’s stipulate that half the country is not bothered by endless wars, forced injections, child mutilation, or the 325K children smuggled into sex trafficking through our lawless border. We can all agree that every parent has one responsibility; to keep their own children safe. How could any responsible parent support a party who either knowingly or incompetently allowed killers and rapists to walk among our children? The answer is simple.
They couldn’t.
