Today is the day.  If you haven’t voted, please do.  Even if you’re in a deep blue state like me, let your voice be heard.  Thousands have died so that you should have this privilege.  Nothing is more important today.

Donald Trump is attempting to be the first president since Grover Cleveland (22 & 24) to serve non-consecutive terms.  He would also be the only Republican to ever accomplish such a feat.  I pray he does.

This has been seemingly the longest election season there ever was.  Now that we approach the end, I am finally able to see it clearly.  This contest was never about Democrats vs Republicans.  It was a historic populist reckoning where the people stood fast against a shadowy and abusive state.  Our government has become the leviathan about which our founders warned us, but we did not listen. 

Now, lifelong Democrats and MAGA Republicans have unpredictably united together to tell our government that we have had enough lies, disrespect, and encroachment on our freedoms. Standing at the front of our alliance is Donald Trump.  His opponents have tried to remove him from ballot, imprison him, bankrupt him, and kill him.  He has literally bled for the American people.  He still stands, and his unbreakable courage has inspired millions to join his fight to restore American greatness. 

While his message is one of hope that America’s best days are ahead, his opponent’s message is a warning to the country that he and his American citizen supporters are Nazis.  The Democrats lied about Biden’s mental health going back to the last election. When their deceit was discovered, they undemocratically swapped him with a candidate for whom nobody voted, all in the name of saving democracy.  Now, the radical left is one election away from permanent one-party rule in America.  They savor the anticipation of unlimited power, while the tree of liberty leans, barren and forgotten. 

This election has been quite the odyssey with every twist and turn, high and low imaginable.  Now that it is almost over, and we’re about to turn the final page, only one ending will do.  The hero who has endured so much on behalf of the American people will see millions of patriots put party aside to stand with him and fight for the freedoms passed on by our ancestors. 

The time has come for the tyrants to bleed, figuratively, of course.  This monster of a government will be cut down and returned to its proper place, a servant of the people.  Trump has the team in place who can immediately get to work and accomplish just that, but be warned, this beast will not go quietly.  Some even say it cannot be defeated, but there is reason for hope.

In my lifetime, I have never seen such a cohesive movement that has brought so many different people together in love of country and in service to each other.  Throughout history, the force of revolution is one of unity and strength.  I believe that force to be with us and that we are strong. We can make this monster bleed, and we can defeat it.

If the tree of liberty can be revived, let us revive it now.  Donald Trump is clearly the choice of the American people.  The one question that remains is whether or not the American people still have a choice.
