The Democrat Party is having an existential crisis of their own making. An NBC News poll found 27% of registered voters say they view the party favorably − their lowest favorability rating in 35 years. Clueless party advisers are blaming ineffective “messaging,” but there is a better explanation for why the Dems have roughly the same popularity as syphilis. They are on the categorically wrong side of a number of 80/20 issues. Too out of touch to understand everyday American sentiment, and too arrogant to surrender their elitist points of view, the progressives have decided to plant their moral superiority flags on several hills of strategically worthless territory. Now, the artillery shells of popular opinion are turning those hills and their defenders into Swiss cheese, and perhaps their party along with them. Here are the hills:
DOGE Peak – There is a reason the term “tax and spend democrat” exists, but what’s happening now is on a whole new level. As DOGE sheds sunlight on Federal slush funds and corrupt NGOs, the Dems feel compelled to openly defend fraud, waste, and abuse, simply to oppose Musk. Worse yet, not only does the uncovered data indicate that they are the benefactors of illicit funds, but the more the Dems try to shield government spending from public scrutiny, the guiltier they look.
Khalil Hill – Mahmoud Khalil is a Hamas activist. His supporters have seized campus property in an attempt to extort anti-Israel policy from school administrators. He is not a citizen and has violated the conditions for his presence in the country. Americans have seen this suicidal empathy for Muslim immigrants play out in the UK and don’t wish to replicate that outcome here. Americans want him deported back to Syria. Democrats are vigorously fighting to keep him here. It is no coincidence that progressive Democrats and anti-western activists always seem to have each other’s backs.
Mass Deportation Summit – Joe Biden let over ten million illegal immigrants into the country in a disastrous bid for permanent one-party rule. The open border has cost the American people immeasurable coin and suffering. The fentanyl deaths, child trafficking, rape, and murder committed by illegal immigrants are all being combatted by Trump and ICE. The herculean task of deporting the trespassers who siphon our resources and endanger our communities has begun. The American people bear full witness to the Democrats doing their best to obstruct these efforts, including defending vicious Tren de Aragua gang members, because they want future votes, giving no care whatsoever to the lives they destroy in the process.
Transgender Heights – This one truly can’t be explained. In order to believe men belong in women’s sports, you not only must have never played sports, but you likely have never seen a man and a woman side by side either. America is done with the left’s virtue-signaling and faux compassion of placating mental illness while putting our daughters at risk. The adults are back in charge, and narcissistic make-believe time is over. Dems should take the hint and move onto other minorities to exploit.
Mount Hoverla – At 6762 feet, this peak in the Carpathian Mountains of Ukraine is far less impressive than the amount of US taxpayer money that has crossed over it, only to disappear without any semblance of accountability. Patience for this conflict was already waning, but after the t-shirt-clad, tiny dancer stomped his little ungrateful feet in the White House, the US has finally had enough. America wants this conflict to end, but not the Democrats. No amount of money or lives seem too great an expense for them, but they have gravely overestimated American support for a proxy war with Russia just so they can satisfy their Vladimir Putin obsession.
It is fair to say Trump has pretty much cornered the pro America market. So much so, that there is a strengthening perception that opposition to his agenda is opposition to America’s best interests. That doesn’t mean that he should never be questioned, or that he is always right. But when Americans see the Dems’ spiteful rejection of Trump’s every word, even when if it means taking ludicrous positions in stark contrast to our national interest, the Democrats reveal their ugliest truth. They hate Trump more than they love America. And that’s a message that inspires no one.
