Thousands of hours of newly released video from the US Capitol prove what many of us already knew, the so-called “deadly insurrection” on January 6th, 2021 was as much a fabrication of leftist partisan hacks as the Russia collusion hoax. While the latter was meant to undermine, if not overturn, the 2016 election, the purpose of the Jan 6th deception was to charge Donald Trump with insurrection conspiracy, precluding him from running for President again. The media salivated for months over a story that painted their political opponents as violent extremists determined to overthrow the government. The narrative put forth by Democrat Representatives on the Jan 6th Committee and dutifully echoed by their media mouthpieces was that Trump ordered armed insurrectionists to storm the Capitol and overturn the election. In doing so, they killed several police officers, threatened the lives of elected officials and nearly extinguished the flame of democracy forever. Vice President and former Montel Williams sidepiece, Kamala Harris, even compared the day to Pearl Harbor and 9/11.
However, despite the talents of the ABC drama producer they hired to sex up this fraudulent prime time show trial, the Committee was largely ineffective in selling this story to the American people because, well, none of it was true. First, Trump clearly instructed his supporters to protest peacefully. Next, there were no fires, relatively little damage and no police officers were killed, despite reprehensible claims to the contrary made by Attorney Weasel Garland as well as the deepstate flunkees who write Biden’s cue cards. Further, the government was never close to being toppled as the scheduled vote to certify the most insecure election in American history occurred just a few hours later that evening. Lastly, trying to convince rational people that the most heavily armed subset of the American population simply forgot their guns on the day they intended to take over the country is a whopper only His Creepiness, Rep. Adam Schiff, could peddle with a straight face.
In the weeks leading up to Jan 6th, Pelosi and other malicious actors willfully denied the Capitol Police the resources necessary to control the expectedly massive crowd and unfortunately, several dozen protesters out of the thousands present that day got rowdy enough to give the Democrats the video clips for which they were pining. The orchestrated chaos outside the Capitol was broadly publicized for months, setting the desired narrative, labeling Trump supporters as dangerous to the country and changing the subject from disturbing election irregularities back to orange man bad. However, the self-appointed, heavily biased Committee overplayed their hand when it became obvious they were showcasing cherry-picked video shot outside, but blocked Republican requests to see camera footage from inside the “stormed Capitol.” This is because they knew that evidence would elicit a dismissive yawn from the public as that footage shows no armed insurrectionists, but rather patriotic protesters milling about, many of whom were let into the Capitol and even escorted around the building by police. The vast majority of the crowd can be seen respectfully touring through the building, even praying, careful not to break anything or harm anyone. These citizens were allowed inside the Capitol to protest what seemed to many to be a fraudulent election. When viewing the video of the docile protesters, many of whom are now jailed, peacefully walking alongside and among Capitol police officers, it is instructive to juxtapose this scene, compared by Democrats to the War of 1812 when DC was torched by the British, with the Antifa-BLM riots of 2020 when $2B in damages and dozens killed prompted the same abominable liars to describe those riots as “mostly peaceful.”
It is true that crimes were committed on Jan. 6th and anyone who destroyed property or assaulted police officers belongs in jail, however, it remains unclear exactly who the individuals were that perpetrated the worst crimes that day. We know Antifa was present, as were federal agents in the crowd. Some individuals, such as Ray Epps, were seen encouraging people to violence, yet for some reason were inexplicably not charged with any crimes, even though there are grandparents currently in jail for simply walking through the Capitol after police let them in.
The real travesty in the dishonesty of these worthless politicians is not just that they lied to the American people, again, causing hateful division among the citizenry in order to win cheap political points, it is that this time their deceitfulness included withholding exculpatory video evidence, allowing innocent people to be imprisoned. Biased prosecutors pushed criminal charges and requested that bail be denied to harmless protesters, keeping them incarcerated to this day without trial. These people are in fact political prisoners, jailed not for what they did, but for what a political narrative said they did. In the Russia hoax, Democrats falsified evidence and spent millions in taxpayer money on an investigation they knew was bogus, just to smear a President they didn’t like. But denying citizens their God-given right to due process by illegally withholding evidence because the defendants happen to support their political opposition is beyond despicable. Adding to their disgrace is the outrage they have recently shown over the release of the exculpatory evidence they attempted to hide. The fact that they would rather see innocent people stay in jail than have their own lies uncovered further illustrates just how unamerican the Democrats have become. If you disagree with this assessment, challenge yourself to identify any point in history when the people attempting to suppress evidence from public view were the good guys.
* Important fact: The only person murdered that day was an unarmed, Trump-supporting veteran named Ashli Babbitt who was shot in the neck by a Capitol Hill police officer while presenting no danger to anyone. A quick internal investigation cleared the officer of any wrongdoing, despite his terrible record of misconduct and damning video evidence of the shooting.
