If you’re a political junkie like myself, this election season has not been a disappointment. Start with the fact that the two most badass things I have ever witnessed in politics have just occurred in back to back months. In July, the world saw Donald Trump, wounded by an assassin’s bullet, blood streaming down his face, stand up, raise his fist, and yell “Fight!” to his fellow Americans in the crowd. I thought it would be a while before I saw anything that courageous again. I was wrong.
Yesterday, Bobby Kennedy Jr. gave the best and bravest political speech I have ever seen, even surpassing Trump’s 2020 SOTU address (the one Pelosi ripped up). Standing at a podium in Phoenix, AZ was the most popular independent candidate for President since Ross Perot. He began his speech explaining how he didn’t start as an Independent, but had to move away from the Democrat party as their censorship, corruption, and undemocratic practices forced his exit. But the Dems’ abuse of RFK Jr. did not stop there.
He was denied Secret Service protection by Biden. The DNC sued his campaign into bankruptcy in multiple states to kick him off the ballot. He explained that in his father’s and uncle’s Democrat party, they would have beat their opponents in a debate, a battlefield of ideas, not in a courtroom. But in Obama’s Democrat party, currently figureheaded by Kamala Harris, they know their ideas do not appeal to the American people, so they lie, cheat, and steal to get power.
Completely opposite that ilk is RFK Jr. Now 70 years old and depleted of any effs to give, as well as unbeholden to any party, he spat hard facts for 48 minutes straight. In the dark, greasy world of politics, this man did the most dangerous thing imaginable. He told the truth.
He ravaged the Democrat party for a rigged primary, a coup of Biden, and the anointing of Kamala. When he started bashing her for hiding from the public, CNN cut him off, returning to their glass-table, biased analysis. Kennedy went on to expose the military industrial complex and their influence in fanning the flames of war in Ukraine, where hundreds of thousands of people have died unnecessarily. He outed the corrupt conflicts of interest that exist in the seedy relationship between government and big pharma. That’s when Fox shamelessly cut him off, as pharma jingles dominate their advertising space. At this point, everyone who wanted to hear the speech was forced to go to Elon’s X, where it was streaming.
RFK Jr.’s inspirational commitment to knowledge in areas where America is suffering is incredibly impressive. He is truly a Patriot who just wants the best for America and knows that a little honesty and a few people with integrity in the right positions in government will be able to do wonders for American health. That reason, along with Trump’s vocal commitment to end the war in Ukraine, were among the top reasons he gave for allying with the Republicans. While I prefer he stay away from economic policy, I think RFK Jr. should absolutely be unleashed on the FDA and the NIH. Let him assemble an all-star team, including Shanahan, McCullough, and the Means siblings to go in there and clean house.
RFK Jr. is a fighter, a man of principle, and he brings a wealth of knowledge to the Trump team. Just to be clear, a Kennedy just joined a Republican campaign because he saw that as the best way for him to serve his country. And not just any campaign, Donald J. Trump’s. That takes courage. That takes putting one’s country before oneself. And that, my friends, is the textbook definition of patriotism.
